Rick Hughes est un chanteur rock actif sur la scène musicale depuis plusieurs décennies. Il se fait d’abord connaître comme chanteur du groupe SWORD, avec lequel il lance plusieurs albums distribués à l’international et effectue des tournées en Europe, aux États-Unis et au Japon. Il poursuit ensuite sa carrière comme chanteur du groupe canado-américain Saints & Sinners, tout en développant son parcours solo.

En 2006, sa carrière solo est marquée par une nomination à l’ADISQ pour l’album rock de l’année, alors que la chanson Pour une seconde atteint la première position à la radio au Québec. Depuis plus de 20 ans, Rick Hughes enchaîne les spectacles à travers le Québec, maintenant une présence constante sur scène.

Il présente actuellement Rick Hughes – The Rock’n’Roll Redemption Tour, ainsi que Les Icônes du Rock, un spectacle hommage consacré aux grandes figures du rock.

Rick Hughes fait aussi la promotion de son plus récent album solo, Redemption, réalisé par John Webster. L’album réunit plusieurs collaborations notables, dont Brad Gillis, Tommy Aldridge, Rudy Sarzo, Sean Kelly, Robbie Krieger, Lee Aaron, Amy Keys et Lulu Hughes, sa sœur.

Parmi les titres phares figurent Dead End Road, The Real Me, Carry the Torch et Dans la peau.

Rick Hughes poursuit aujourd’hui ses activités artistiques entre création, production et scène, dans la continuité d’un parcours ancré dans le rock.

Rick Hughes is a rock singer who has been active on the music scene for several decades. He first gained recognition as the singer of the band SWORD, with whom he released several albums distributed internationally and toured Europe, the United States, and Japan. He later continued his career as the singer of the Canadian-American band Saints & Sinners, while further developing his solo work.

In 2006, his solo career was marked by a nomination at the ADISQ Gala for Rock Album of the Year, while the song “Pour une seconde” reached number one on radio in Québec. For more than 20 years, Rick Hughes has maintained a consistent presence on stage, performing regularly across Québec.

He currently presents Rick Hughes – The Rock’n’Roll Redemption Tour, as well as Icons of Rock, a tribute show dedicated to the artists who shaped the history of rock music.

Rick Hughes is also promoting his latest solo album, Redemption, produced by John Webster. The album features notable collaborations with Brad Gillis, Tommy Aldridge, Rudy Sarzo, Sean Kelly, Robbie Krieger, Lee Aaron, Amy Keys, and Lulu Hughes, his sister.
